In the three years since our debut album, we have earned rave reviews touring the UK supporting the likes of The Temptations, Reel Big Fish, King Blues, and The Skints.

Producer Mike “Prince Fatty” Pelanconi (Graham Coxon, Hollie Cook) literally locked us in his Brighton-based Ironworks studio in an attempt to capture the raucous energy of our live shows. Initially establishing ourselves as a party band, we have naturally progressed to writing about things that matter us, and engaging our fans in performances using props, fancy dress and audience participation.

On working with the legendary Prince Fatty, our singer Hanna said “we were excited about working with a producer whose work we respected. He was at the TOP of our list, and we were honoured to spend studio time with him. We felt that Prince Fatty would be able to capture our pop sensibility as well as lend us his natural understanding of reggae and ska”. Keen to keep the energy of our live shows, the album showcases twelve brand new sixties-tinged tracks blending our version of ska, reggae and 60s garage to create an upbeat summer soundtrack.

Lyrically and thematically, we have moved on from simple hedonism of younger years with lyrics reflecting life in Coalition Britain, expressing solidarity for incarcerated Russian fem-punks Pussy Riot, and picking apart doomed relationships.
